Teacher Resources and Answer Keys to Accompany Bible History for Children and Youth provides the answers to Bible history questions students are asked in the three textbooks listed below.
- Bible History for Children and Youth (Text and Study Guide)
Note: This book is in black and white and includes stories from both the Old and New Testaments.
- Old Testament Textbook and Study Guides for Students
Note: This book is in color and only includes stories from the Old Testament, although there are a number of references to Jesus.
- New Testament Textbook and Study Guides for Students
Note: This book is in color and only includes stories from the New Testament, although there are references to biblical persons from the Old Testament.
This resource also includes several reading comprehension game ideas and question cards about the Bible stories to cut apart for the games. The question cards can also be used with any gameboard that has a pathway from start to finish. Students playing the game would answer one of the questions and if the teacher confirms that the answer is correct, the student could roll dice or spin a spinner and move his or her playing piece the corresponding number of spaces on the path. If you visit the “Free Teaching Materials” page of the Habakkuk Educational Materials website, there are free gameboards that can be printed on cardstock.
